We were very fortunate this year to latch onto the YABS author tour and bring in Eric Walters to speak to students from several Medicine Hat schools. Eric Walters entertained and informed some grade 9 classes on Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009. As a best selling children’s author, he has written over 60 novels and won over 80 awards. Mr. Walters is deeply committed to The Creation of Hope which focuses on global citizenship and social justice. “100% of money raised by schools will be sent directly for service. There is no administration fee taken from student raised funds…. Each school will be provided with an accountability statement.
