FASHION STUDIES

CTS is undergoing very significant curriculum changes over the next three years. Fashion Studies is just one of the courses in the Media, Design and Communications Art (MDC) cluster.

As a part of the MDC cluster, Fashion students will have the opportunity to explore: digital embroidery, textile arts, CAD or computer aided design, industrial sewing, as well as sewing fundamentals.

The Medicine Hat School District #76 and Alberta Education are committed to updating equipment and labs to meet the requirements of the new curriculums. We are looking forward to seeing improvements in the Fashion equipment and lab very soon.
